SplashID Safe for Teams End of Service Notice
⚠️ Important Notice: End of Service
SplashID Safe for Teams will officially reach end of service on
August 31, 2026.
Please ensure you migrate your data and transition before this date.
After evaluating the product and the evolving security landscape, we’ve made the difficult decision to
retire SplashID Safe for Teams. The product will officially reach end of service on August 31,
2026.
What this means for you
- SplashID Safe for Teams will continue to work until August 31, 2026, giving you
enough time to transition at your own pace.
- No new purchases or renewals will be processed going forward.
- Any remaining subscription time will be handled fairly, including refunds where
applicable.
Moving your data
We know your data is important for you. To make this transition as smooth as possible, we’re providing a
simple process that allows you to export your SplashID Safe for Teams data and import it into
SplashID Pro 9 securely.
1
Export your records from SplashID Safe for Teams. Use an admin account that has
access to all the records in your organization account.
3
Purchase a SplashID Pro 9 subscription from inside the app in the Subscriptions
screen in Settings. You can start with a single user license, and add more later to be assigned
to your other users.
4
Import the file you had exported in step one into SplashID Pro 9. To do this,
go to the Import & Export screen in Settings, and click or
tap on the Import button in the VID (SplashID Safe for Teams)
section.
5
Review your imported records. Each group in SplashID Safe for Teams will be
created as a category in SplashID Pro 9. All the imported records will initially be personal
records placed in the newly created category, and will be owned by the account importing the
file.
6
Setup sharing of your records by first inviting them from the
Users screen in the Sharing section of the app. Click or tap
on the Users button to invite new users or manage existing users. Each invited
user will need to have a pro license to be able to view and access the shared records.
7
Setup user groups containing the added users. Click or tap on the
Groups button in the Sharing screen to setup the groups.
8
Convert the personal records to shared records from the My
Records screen by using the category filter, the multiple records selector, and the
Share action in the 3 dot menu that will appear next to the Select option in
the filter.
